MP4, WebM, MOV, and AVI files are accepted. The most reliable format is MP4 with H.264 encoding, which all modern browsers can decode.
GIFs are uncompressed frame-by-frame images and are inherently larger than video files for the same content. Reduce file size by lowering the frame rate (10–15 fps is often enough), trimming the clip to the shortest necessary length, and reducing the output dimensions.
10–15 fps produces smooth motion for most content while keeping file sizes manageable. 24+ fps is needed only for very fast motion.
