Use 'What is X% of Y?' — enter the discount percentage and the original price. For a 20% discount on $150, the discount amount is $30 and the final price is $120.

Use the 'Percentage change' calculation. Enter the original value and the new value. A positive result is an increase; a negative result is a decrease.

Use 'Find original value': enter the post-tax total as the 'new value' and the tax rate as the percentage. The result is the pre-tax price.

Yes. The calculations use standard floating-point arithmetic. For financial calculations requiring exact decimal arithmetic, round results to two decimal places.
