The viewer handles GeoJSON files up to several MB without issues. Very large files with hundreds of thousands of coordinates may be slow to render.

Yes. Use the file upload button to load a .geojson or .json file from your device.

Yes. The base map tiles are loaded from OpenStreetMap tile servers. The GeoJSON rendering itself is done locally.
